Our pigs have a dirty little secret… they actually get dirty. They know what it is like to live in the great outdoors, feel the sunshine on their faces, and roam free uninhibited.
There are so many great advantages to having pigs on pasture, besides the obvious fact that it is their natural habitat. Our pastured pigs live high on the hog, so to speak, with a steady diet of soy-free, and corn-free grains, so no need to worry about GMO’S, fresh milk from our pastured cows, and lots of fresh fruits and veggies.
Don’t forget the added bonus of all of the natural minerals and bugs that they find rutting in the pasture and grazing in the fields or cooling off in the forest. The microorganisms in the dirt, the nutrients, and minerals from the roots and legumes, and all of the fresh air and sunshine combine to provide a more nutrient-dense, leaner pork product than you can't find in the supermarket.
